According to U.S. Rider News in their article BMW Recalls K1200 Models For Brake Issue,
the 2007 – 2008 BMW K1200 bikes (sport models, R, R- Sport, and S, have an
issue with the front brake fluid reservoir. Owners of these bikes can
contact BMW at CustomerRelations@bmwusa.com or
call at 1-800-525-7471 to make arrangements to have their bike retrofitted with
a screen insert to resolve the brake fluid reservoir issue. This recall affects
2,062 bikes.
